It's that time of year again, time for the SCORE Henderson's Terrible 250 Desert Race CHARITY EVENT NIGHT -- Wednesday, July 9, 2003

The Henderson Convention and Visitors Bureau along with the City of Boulder City, Herbst Gaming, and SCORE International have chosen Volunteers of America as the non-profit organization to benefit from this years Charity events.

Volunteers of America is one of the nation's largest and most comprehensive charitable nonprofit human services organizations. From rural America to inner-city neighborhoods, Volunteers of America engages its professional staff and volunteers in designing and operating programs that deal with today's most pressing social needs. Worth Magazine recently recognized them as being one of America's best charities. In Nevada, Volunteers of America concentrates on Senior Citizens, and specifically in Boulder City they concentrate on the Homestead at Boulder City.

Now here's the scoop! This awesome Charity Event Night will raise funds through a Celebrity/Driver Bowling tournament that will pair Angel Tree children with local celebrities and SCORE Drivers for an exciting round of Cosmic Bowling at the Terrible's Town Bowl in Henderson, 4:00-5:30pm.

Wait, that's not all -- there will also be a Silent Auction and Video Poker Tournament to round out this great evening at Casino MonteLago, Lake Las Vegas' newest addition, 5:30-9:00pm.

Here's the part where you come in. We would like to invite you to participate in this outstanding Charity evening full of good times and fun. How can you participate and show your support?

There are several ways:
· Become a Lane Sponsor or 1 of 16 Celebrity Bowlers (No Fee) at the Celebrity/Driver Bowling Tournament
(Lane Sponsorships Only - $300 minimum)
· Donate an item or items to the Silent Auction and/or Bid on Items during the event
(Gift Certificates, Apparel, Gift Baskets, Collectors or Novelty Items, etc...)
· Become a Participant in the Video Poker Tournament
($50.00 registration fee. 1st Place will be a 50/50 pay structure up to $1199.00)

Recognition will be given to Donated Items and Lane Sponsors during these events.
