SCORE Henderson's Terrible 250

WHAT: 2nd Annual SCORE Henderson's Terrible 250 Desert Race Round 4, of the six-race 2003 SCORE Desert Series
WHEN: Wednesday-Sunday, July 9-12, 2003
WHERE: Henderson, Nevada (on the southeast outskirts of Las Vegas)
WHO: Nearly 150 entries from 12 U.S. States and Mexico

COURSE: TOTAL MILEAGE: 238.2 miles, 3 laps over 79.4-mile course (5 checkpoints; race miles 30.9, 43.6, 50.1, 70.9 and S/F line. Starts and finishes on the northwest corner of the Eldorado Valley dry lake bed, on the west side of Nevada State Highway 95, six miles south of Railroad Pass junction.

The demanding course includes seven distinct types of terrain, crossing over to the Jean dry lake bed adjacent to Interstate 15 and back through both the lower and higher passes through the McCullough Mountains and back to the start/finish line are and main pit. Pit B will be near the Jean Dry Lake bed at race mile 29 and the limited Pit C will be at race mile 63.1. The course runs over existing trails, gas line roads, dry lake beds, existing washes, mining and power line roads.

NOTE: Class 11, Stock Full, Stock Mini will race 2 laps (158.8 miles)
