Las Vegas, NV - The Best In The Desert Racing Association is proud to announce that TSCO - Tube Specialties Company will once again be the TITLE SPONSOR for the 2004 "Vegas to Reno" off-road race. The event will be billed as TSCO "Vegas to Reno" "The Longest Off-Road Race in the United States!" The Weyhrich Brother's, Mark and Gary, have been long time supporters of Best In The Desert and the "Vegas to Reno" event. "It has always been our favorite race and we love racing "Vegas to Reno," says Mark Weyhrich. "We were proud to be associated with the 2003 TSCO "Vegas to Reno" and we want to continue to develop the event and make it bigger and better than 2003. To do that we need to make a commitment to Best In The Desert and to the off-road racing community.

"Vegas to Reno" has always been the Flagship race for Best In The Desert, we want to do our part and contribute our resources to a great event that means something to everyone that races it, and most especially to win it. There is no other off-road race like "Vegas to Reno" in the United States, just think about racing over 500-miles across the entire State of Nevada, it's unbelievable, and as I said, Tube Specialties Company is proud to be a part of this great race," continued Weyhrich.

TSCO "Vegas to Reno" is set for June 24-27, 2004. This race is over 500-miles and the participants will race through some of the most beautiful country in the west; 500 miles of off-road adventure traveling through the State of Nevada! The race begins near Las Vegas, Nevada, and will travel north by the historic mining town of Beatty-Goldfield, which has just recently hit another very large gold strike. The course will continue through the Silver Peak Mountain Range, through Mina, Silver Springs, Fallon and finishing 500-miles later near Reno, Nevada! Quite an off-road adventure!

Registration, Technical Inspection, and Contingency begin at 10:00 am at the Suncoast Hotel in Las Vegas, Thursday, June 24, 2004. Spectators are welcome to come to the Suncoast Hotel on Thursday and look at all of the incredible Motorcycles, Quads, Cars and Trucks. We welcome you to attend and meet some of the most famous, professional off-road racers in the country! The host hotel in Reno is the Reno Hilton, spectators are also welcome to see what these incredible race vehicles look like after 500 miles of racing in the desert!
