Scott Douglas Goes for Tenth Career Championship
Las
Vegas, Nevada -- Veteran off-road racer Scott Douglas Has an opportunity
to clinch his tenth career championship this weekend with a strong finish in
the Best In The Desert (BITD) Terrible 300 Desert Race. Douglas is currently
leading the points chase in Class 3100 Pure-Stock Production Mini or Mid-Size
Sport Utility Vehicles in the Rancho Suspension Ford Explorer.
In other news, Douglas
Motorsports had a major presense this past month at the 2004 Specialty Equipment
Market Association (SEMA) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Show goers couldn’t miss
the bright red Rancho F-150 Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR) truck. It was
prominately displayed on the main aisle of the BFGoodrich display in the Convention
Center’s South Hall.
In
addition to having the CORR truck in the BFGoodrich display, the Douglas Motorsports
race transporter with full awning was strategically positioned front and center
in a high traffic area at the entrance to the Convention Center. “I enjoy
representing Douglas Motorsports and our great sponsors at SEMA,” commented
Douglas. “It was great opportunity for the industry and many of our hard-core
race fans to see what an unlimited Pro-4 short course truck is all about.”
