Evan Evans to be featured on Speed Channel’s ‘Truck Universe’

Indianapolis, IN (February 16, 2005) -- Evan Evans, undoubtedly one of the most popular drivers in Championship Off Road Racing, will be featured on Truck Universe, a show airing on Speed Channel.

Evans will be featured on Saturday, March 5th at 10:30 a.m. and the show will replay on Wednesday, March 16th at 4:00 p.m. (EST).

Evans finished 2nd in the 2004 CORR Lucas Oil Series’ Pro-2 division. With four consecutive wins in Rounds 7-10, Evans has 23 career Pro-2 victories. Since the 2000 season, Evans has not finished below third in the Pro-2 season-ending standings.

Evans, known for his “Never Give Up” motto, is paralyzed from the chest down from a non-racing motorcycle accident. Since his accident, which occurred in 1989, Evans gained enough strength to be able to race again. His Forest County Potawatomi/Goodyear Chevrolet is powered using hand controls.
