Indianapolis, IN (February 28, 2005) -- Pit Bull Tires are hungry for more. A year after the company was introduced to the CORR Lucas Oil Series, Pit Bull Tires will sponsor the 2005 CORR Lucas Oil Series Rookie of the Year Program.

“We are very enthusiastic about being the CORR Rookie of the Year Sponsor,” said Michael Green, President of Pit Bull Tires. “In essence, we are Rookies too since this will be the year when we officially launch our 4x4 Rocker, Growler and Maddog product lines. Just like in racing, it takes dedication, a personal belief in one’s self and a willingness to get out there and put it all on the line to win.”

With Pit Bull Tires joining CORR, 5 tire companies are now a part of the series, a rare achievement in Motorsports.

“CORR allows us to be affiliated with a fast growing, high exposure sport which acts as a perfect test ground for our 4x4 products and the people who use them,” explained Green.

Pit Bull Tires took advantage of this opportunity in hopes of developing a better understanding of the series before they look into sponsoring individual teams.

“We want to ‘walk before we run’,” said Green. “Pit Bull is starting with three designs from the get-go, so we’re going to spend the next few years adding more and more sizes and ultimately radials.”
