San Diego, BAJA SAFARI celebrated Tuesday night with the producers of
"Dust To Glory", the hot offroad racing film by Dana Brown, on the
launch of the movie here in San Diego
After the San Diego premiere, Brown, Mike 'Mouse'
McCoy and Baja
Safari
boss Mike Overcast talked about the films release in Baja California (where
the film was shot) at the World Premiere in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California
Sur,
Mexico.
At the Dust To Glory Hollywood Premiere Party for the long awaited
docu-drama about the Baja 1000 Offroad Race, on March 23 on the Sunset Strip,
the offroad industry allstars mingled with the film producers and Hollywood
stars. Brooke Burns (Baywatch, Dog Eat Dog, North Shore) hit the red carpet
at the films
screening and partied past midnight with offroads finest.
Brooke said, "I'll
be in Cabo for the International Premiere for sure, I
loved the movie, I love Mouse, he rocks!". Walker Evans, Baja Racing Legend,
stated at the party, "What a great event, the offroad industry needs this
kick in the butt action, great film!".
So far, the reviews for
the film are glowing and many show dates are already sold out. Some reviewers
have commented
on "Dust To Glory" as, "Step
Into Baja", "Baja Or Bust" and "The Joy Of Eating Dust"!
The movie is proving to be a driving force for the offroad experience. One
Baja Race organizer has put it this way, "After seeing the movie, every
yahoo with a pick-up will be in Baja this Summer!".
At the Red Bull-Coyne
Motorsports premiere in San Diego last night,
the
crowd roared with the film and was noticeably stoked with "Dust To Glory".
Travis Coyne, of Coyne Motorsports, attended the gala and recieved twenty five
Baja Safari Memberships for his team and crew for their motorsports efforts
in Baja, Mexico.
