Cabo 500 & Dos Mares 500 to Merge
La Paz, B.C.S., Mexico (September 14, 2005 ) --The Baja Safari Mexico Club and the La Paz Automotive Club
have agreed to combine the CABO 500 and the famous DOS
MARES 500, in April 2006. For over twelve years, the La
Paz Club has provided the Baja California Sur offroading
community with the years largest offroad racing event.
Over 170 entries from all over Mexico vying for points
towards the Mexican Offroad Championship! Baja South's
biggest race with a race course running North along the
Sea Of Cortez and South along the Pacific Ocean to Cabo
San Lucas.
Now, the International Event, the "CABO 500, Race The Two
Seas", will provide racers from around the globe the
BIGGEST BADDEST Offroad Race of the year!
The "CABO 500-Race The Two Seas",
in
2006, will be a desert point to point race between the
Capital of Baja South, La Paz and the Mega-Resort Cabo
San Lucas, in April, 2006.
The Federacion Mexicana de Automovillismo Deportivo
and
the Baja California Sur Offroad Association have approved
of the race. For many months, the State of
Baja California South has promoted the CABO 500 and its
positive effects for sports and tourism for the state.
