BooKoo Arenacross Championship Series Waives Entry Fees For Friday and Saturday

With Rising Cost Of Fuel, Advanstar Lowers Cost of Racing
Santa Ana, CA (September 15, 2005) -- Advanstar
Communications, Inc. – a leading provider of print, event and online
media for the powersports, off-road and automotive aftermarket industries – today
announced that the entry fees for the professional 250 and 450 classes would
be waived for
the entire 12-round K&N presents BooKoo Arenacross Championship Series.
“The sharp increases in fuel costs have put an increased burden on our
race teams and especially our privateers,” stated Advanstar Arenacross
Race Director, Mike Kidd. “As a former rider who made a living racing
motorcycles, I understand a dollar saved is a dollar earned. Therefore we are
going to do our part to insure the riders know we appreciate their support.”
With the richest purse and points fund in Arenacross history and contingency
money on the line, eliminating entry fees for the pro riders will add another
huge incentive for racers to participate in the inaugural BooKoo Arenacross
Championship Series.
The BooKoo Arenacross Championship Series promises to deliver
bigger air...better tracks... more speed... . The series kicks off
in Fort Worth, Texas, Nov.4th-6th, 2005 with the championship final
round in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Feb. 10-12, 2006. For more information please go
