SEVEN MARY THREE TO PERFORM FREE CONCERT
DURING HENDERSON'S TERRIBLE 400

Concert, street party and vendor village planned in
Downtown Henderson to celebrate final race of the 2005 season

Henderson, NV (November 17, 2005 ) -- The Henderson Convention and Visitors Bureau announced the rock band Seven Mary Three will perform a free concert during Henderson's Terrible 400 Desert Race Week, December 1-4. The concert will be one of the many highlights throughout the four days of race festivities planned to complement the conclusion of yet another exciting year for both the Best in the Desert Race Series and the SNORE, Southern Nevada Off-Road Racing Enthusiasts, race series. All events are free for spectators.

Race festivities will begin on Thursday, December 1 and continue through to race day, Saturday, December 3, concluding with an awards presentation on Sunday, December 4. Seven Mary Three will take the stage during the popular tech& contingency event, creating an unforgettable street party on Water Street in Downtown Henderson on Friday evening.

"Henderson's Terrible 400 Desert Race has been received with such enthusiasm, complementing the main event with ancillary events was a natural progression," said Bud Pico, Manager of Tourism and Sales for the Henderson Convention and Visitors Bureau. "We have designed several exhilarating events to create a complete racing experience. There will be opportunities to get close-up views of the race vehicles, interact with the racers, and enjoy some great food and live entertainment."

Henderson's Terrible 400 schedule of events includes:
Thursday
- Time trials (1-4 p.m.)
Pre-race party and vehicle display at Back Stop Sports Bar in Boulder City (6-9 p.m.)

Friday - Pre-fun run (8-11 a.m.)
Tech and contingency, vendor village and street party
on Water and Pacific Streets in Downtown Henderson (1-7 p.m.)
Seven Mary Three Concert on Water Street (7-8:30p.m.)
Driver/Rider Meeting on concert stage (8:30p.m.-9:30p.m.)

Saturday - Motorcycle and ATV Race (6:30 a.m.)
Car and Truck Race (8:00 a.m.)

Sunday - Henderson's Terrible 400 Race Awards Presentation at the Henderson Convention Center (9-11 a.m.)

Henderson's Terrible 400 is sponsored by Best in the Desert Racing Association, the Henderson Convention and Visitors Bureau, Herbst Gaming and the City of Boulder City.

This year's race participation will include SNORE, the oldest and one of the most premier off-road racing organizations. Henderson's Terrible 400 marks the final and deciding race for both the Best in the Desert and SNORE series.

The race will feature cars, trucks, buggies, motorcycles and ATVs and will take place in the Eldorado Valley located between Henderson and Boulder City through the McCullough Mountain range. Start/finish line will be positioned off Nevada Highway 95, near the Railroad Pass exit. The 68 mile course poses challenges, with five full laps, on what has been regarded as the fastest course in the Best in the Desert race series.
