CABO 500 Offroad Race Announces "SPIRIT OF
OFFROAD" Award
The CABO 500 Announces today the JASON BALDWIN "SPIRIT OF
OFFROAD" Annual Award. The award will be the culmination of
racing in Baja's BIGGEST BADDEST offroad race, The CABO
500, this year to be held on April 29, 2006.
The JASON BALDWIN "SPIRIT OF OFFROAD" ANNUAL AWARD
receipient will be determined by the CABO 500 race
accomplishment and the expression of offroad sportsmanship
and passion, in that years event.
"Jason Baldwin's graced life is an example for all offroad
desert racers. His performance on the race course of life,
his sportsmanship and passion is remembered and respected
in Baja, Mexico", said Mike Overcast, CABO 500 Promoter.
The JASON BALDWIN "SPIRIT OF OFFROAD" ANNUAL AWARD, is also
a work of art. The award, a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted
wooden Baja Tall Cactus, cut from Ironwood, has been
designed and crafted by World renowned Baja artist, Sergio Ochoa.
The "Spirit Of Offroad" award ceremony will be part of the
awards ceremony this year after the Dos Mares CABO 500 in
Southern Baja California. The race is from La Paz, the
Capital of Offroad, to the Mega-Resort of Cabo San Lucas.
