COYNE MOTORSORTS AND PRO COMP SUSPENSION MAKE A
SUCCESFUL DEBUT AT C.O.R.R. OPENING WEEKEND
The months of anticipation, rumors, and speculation that filled
the off season came to a head at the opening round of the Championship
Off Road Racing Series (C.O.R.R.) held May 20th -21st 2006 in Chula
Vista California. One of the hottest topics was the long list of West
Coast talent entering the series ready to go to battle with the C.O.R.R regulars.
At the top of the list of talented competitors was the father and
son team of Marty and Travis Coyne. As respected competitors in the
extremely competitive S.C.O.R.E. Trophy Truck class there was a lot
of anticipation from fans and fellow competitors alike. Coyne Motorsports
entered the C.O.R.R. series with a 2-truck effort with the support of
long time marketing partner Pro Comp Suspension.
Marty made his C.O.R.R. debut driving in the premier class,
Pro-4 in the # 5 Pro Comp Suspension Truck and Travis made his driving
debut in the ultra competitive Pro-2 division in the # 6 Pro Comp
Suspension Truck.

a total of fifteen laps in our Pro Comp Pro-2 before this race"

taking the checkered flag in 4th place.

Pro-4 was really dialed in right out of the gate" "It was definitely
a learning experience for me today" "This is the first 4 Wheel Drive

characteristics" When the checkered flag waved, Marty and the Pro
Comp Pro-4 crossed the finish line in 5th place
C.O.R.R. Round 2: Sunday

After a strong finish in Round 1, Travis had his sights set on
putting the Pro Comp Pro-2 on the podium. "I was confident going
into Round 2 knowing we were able to run up front with top teams"

Travis to finish in the 7th position. "I am really proud of our
team this weekend" "Coming out here for our first time and finishing
were we did, I know we opened some eyes" "I have to thank Pro Comp
for their dedication and support in putting together this first class program".
Pro-4
With the momentum of a top 5 finish in Round 1, Marty also
had his sights set on placing the Pro Comp Pro-4 atop the podium.
"I just wanted to put in clean consistent laps as I am still feeling
out the capabilities of this new truck" After 15 laps of action packed,
door to door racing, Marty once again found himself crossing the finish
line in 5th place. "It's great that both Travis and I were able to put
in strong runs right here in Pro Comp's backyard" "It was defiantly wild
out there and for our first race, I'll defiantly take a top 5"
