Martensen Motorsports Wins Parker 425!

Phoenix, AZ - Rob Martensen and Rich Roberts both of Phoenix, Arizona, teamed up to win class 1100 in their debut race together, the Best In The Desert Parker 425, last weekend in Parker, Arizona. Rob Martensen drove the Volkswagen powered Chenowth to the lead by the conclusion of the first of three 135 mile laps.

Rich Roberts took over at the halfway point and brought it home to the finish with no problems. "I'm incredibly excited to have won my first desert race" said Martensen. "Rich did an awesome job preparing the car and he drove it to perfection as well. Our BFGoodrich tires were great today, no flats on a very rocky course. The team won by almost two hours over their closest competitor in the 9+ hour race.
