E3 Spark Plugs Sponsored Driver Kevin Probst
Wins the WSORR Round III Pro 2WD Race
at The Big House

Before Round III of the 2008 World Series of Off-Road Racingís (WSORR) Pro 2WD series at the Big House, the Crandon Raceway in Crandon, Wisconsin, E3 Spark Plugs sponsored driver Kevin Probst decided he was going to take the race from the very beginning. Kevin, in his E3 Spark Plugs/Dixie Choppers/Lucas Oil/Toyo Tires Chevrolet Silverado, pulled a hole shot around the famous Potawatomi turn one and never looked back cruising to a 8-second win in front of a very fast field.

"Probst absolutely had this field covered," said Doug Davis, general manager of WSORR. "He was the fastest off-roader on the planet today, nobody from Guam to Dakar to Baja to California was going to catch him."

After his spectacular crash in Round I at the E3 Show-Me-State Showdown in Wheatland, Missouri on June 1st, Kevin was able to drive his yellow and white truck to a second place finish in Round II of the action. After his win in Round III on Saturday Kevin was able to finish second again in Round IV on Sunday, putting him tied for the points lead for the Pro 2WD season championship.

"The new truck is working great," said Kevin. "Our truck last year was good too but the one this year seems to be running even better and I definitely think I can contend for the championship this season. Who knows, maybe itís just the recent paint scheme with the huge E3 logos. Iím definitely getting used to the look and hope I can take it to the end."

"We couldnít be more proud of Kevin and the way he is representing our company on the track," said Todd Arey, President and CEO of E3 Spark Plugs. "This is our fist year as a sponsor of Team Lucas and we are so happy to have Kevin carry our logo and run so well with it. At E3, we continuously strive to achieve excellence through innovation. Kevin has that same kind of drive while he is out there racing and it is evident every time he getís behind the wheel of that truck."

WSORR Rounds V and VI are up next at The Island Resort & Casino/Boss Snowplow Off-road Challenge in Bark River, Michigan on July 12th and 13th.

Kevin Probst is the owner of Probst Motorsports and has over 190 career victories and 16 Class Championships during his thirty-year career. He finished third in the overall points championship in the Pro 2wd division in 2007. Kevinís nephew, Jon, also a Probst Motorsports Driver, is competing in his first full season in the PRO-Light division of the WSORR.
