Enters This Weekend Chula Vista Event

Riverside, CALIFORNIA - Rick Huseman Racing returns to the Chula Vista International Raceway for Rounds 11 & 12 on September 13-14, 2008. The No.3 Pro 4 race truck will feature TRAXXAS bedside logos after Rick Huseman Racing and TRAXXAS announced a marketing partnership for the remainder of the 2008 Championship Off Road Racing season.

TRAXXAS is the number-1 selling name in Ready-to-Race nitro and electric models for the last 4 years running. They are a proven winner and we are proud to unite our winning race team with a successful company in TRAXXAS. Corporate sponsorship is a vital ingredient to a successful race operation and the addition of TRAXXAS to our partners list is exciting. We will debut the No.3 Pro 4 at Chula Vista International Raceway this upcoming weekend and we plan on putting the No.3 on the podium," commented Rick Huseman.

After 10 rounds of Championship Off Road Racing, Rick Huseman is positioned third in the overall standings, a mere 16 points from the leader. Crowds at the Chula Vista International Raceway have nearly sold out in the past. Chula Vista International Raceway is located in southern San Diego County, only a few miles from the United States / Mexico border.

Huseman said, "Off road racing is very popular in Southern California and especially in the outlying areas surrounding downtown San Diego. That, combined with racing so close to Mexico where fans are incredibly passionate about the rage of off road racing, sets up a great venue for Rounds 11 & 12 of the 2008 Championship Off Road Racing season. Heading into the race weekend, it is imperative that we stay close within the top three of the championship point's race. You will see us run full tilt this weekend as we aim to claim the top spot in the 2008 Pro 4 Championship."

Fans are encouraged to visit the Rick Huseman Racing Pit Zone that features a display by FABTECH Motorsports and plenty of MONSTER Energy Drink floating around the pits. TRAXXAS Ready-to-Race models can be viewed at the TRAXXAS display zone and cars/trucks are available for purchase at the track as well. Rick and his crew will be in the pits signing autograph hero cards throughout the day, so take advantage of the opportunity and stop by the Rick Huseman Racing Pit Zone.

Saturday's Round 11 of the 2008 CORR Series will be broadcasted on Speed Channel live with two hours of television coverage beginning at 2:30 p.m. PST. Sunday's Round 12 will be broadcasted on Sunday, October 5, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m on NBC Sports.
