Matt Scaroni and TROPHYLITE
Destroy Sportsman Truck Field at

Heber, California - In an effort to continually research and develop the TROPHYLITE race truck, TROPHYLITE founder Matt Scaroni entered in the Sportsman Truck class for this past weekend's SCORE Terrible's Primm 300 in Primm, Nevada. After electing to take a rear start. Scaroni, with Co-Rider and General Tire Executive Tony Talbert, physically passed all seven other vehicles in their class by mile 30. Scaroni and Talbert completed the two required laps around the unforgiving 74 mile Primm course with a blistering average speed of 41.60 MPH. Following the victory, Scaroni commented "We are thrilled with how the truck performed today. This is some of the toughest terrain that you can race through and the TROPHYLITE once again proved its ability and reliability against trucks that have much more power and suspension travel."

General Tire Light Truck Manager Tony Talbert added, "The Primm 300 race is a very rugged course and I am impressed with how well the TROPHYLITE truck took the punishment and how durable the General Tire Grabber AT2's survived under such intense conditions. We have spent a great deal of energy into the construction of our off-road tires and I am very proud to say we have met the challenge. General Tire has taken home wins in a variety of classes in off-road racing this year and we will continue to build products that meet the demands of these aggressive drivers."

The 2008 KMC Wheels TROPHYLITE Series Presented by KC HiLiTES returns to action October 24-26 for the Best in the Desert Golden West Cycle 150.
